Mercedes Hybrid
Environmentally conscious drivers will enjoy the announcement of Daimler Benz getting into
the Hybrid car market. This manufacture is well known for providing top-of-the-line luxury vehicles to drivers for
numerous years. Mercedes is pleased to introduce its contribution to the hybrid market. The F 600 Hygenius is
taking the hybrid vehicle market by storm these days. It is a fuel cell hybrid vehicle model that showcases an
outstanding feat of automobile engineering that will debut at the upcoming Tokyo auto show.
The F600 Hygenius is the first hybrid vehicle to combine the energy efficiency of fuel cell power with the
dependability power from electric powered motors. Add to this the strong capacity of Lithium Ion batteries and it
is easy to see how popular this Mercedes hybrid is going to be. City driving conditions require a lot of stop and
go action. This can drain electricity from the battery. Drivers do not need to fear ever running out of power
however, because the fuel cell feature of the engine begins to kick in as electric power drains down. As the car
comes to a stop, the electric battery recharges by regenerating the battery power absorbed in the lithium ion
pack.
Another aspect that further set the F600 from the rest is how the body is designed. The sporty and compact look of
the F600 was specifically designed to hold the motor battery pack and Hydrogen tank. The drive train features fit
conveniently underneath the seats by the rear axle location. There are other hiding places for materials that
drivers would never think of looking at in a million years. All of this comes together to create the magical design
aspects of the Mercedes F600 Hygenius.
Mercedes did not leave out the aspect of aesthetic appeal when designing the F600 Hygenius. There is as much detail
in the interior space as can be found in the exterior and engine housing. Specific detail was given to the interior
by placing rear cameras and cameras molded with side mirrors for driver functionality. This system of mirrors helps
a driver keep an eye on the back end of the vehicle in a parked position. Smart sensors alert the driver to
oncoming traffic when car doors are open. In the event something is coming towards the vehicle, the locking system
is temporarily activated preventing the doors from being opened and a collision from occurring.
Driver blind spots are covered with a technological advancement that alerts the driver in turning or changing lanes
situations. A central control panel handles common functions of the radio or air conditioner. Smart system
technology distinguishes between the driver and passenger controls allowing for personalized settings to be set for
each individual.
These features are considered extras in some vehicles. In the land of Mercedes cars, it is simply the aspects that
have come to be expected in vehicles bearing the Mercedes name. One thing that sets this vehicle apart from the
rest is the fact that all of these features are housed in a hybrid vehicle.
That means that drivers can maintain the luxury accustomed by the Mercedes name while still doing their part to
place an economical and environmentally friendly vehicle on the roadways. All of this goes a long way towards
preserving the environment from pollutants and toxins.
Cars That Run on Water Tip #1
No matter what anybody tells you, there is not yet a water powered car in production. That is an urban myth that
reached its peak with Stanley Meyer who claimed that he drove one hundred miles using only four ounces of water (he
was later convicted of fraud). The water powered engine hasn't even been invented yet. Scientists are still trying
to figure out if it is even possible.
Cars That Run on Water Tip #2
Many major car manufacturers are embracing the idea of the hydrogen car. BMW hopes to release a hydrogen car to
the public by 2008 (or 2010 at the latest) and other manufacturers like Toyota are also making plans to release
hydrogen car lines. Of course the debate over using hydrogen in cars is still raging and nothing has been settled
yet.
Cars That Run on Water Tip #3
While both a water based engine and a hydrogen engine will do wonders for fuel emissions and the environment,
one of the major reasons people want them is to improve their fuel mileage. Of course, gas mileage can be improved
right now. You can improve your gas mileage drastically just by driving sensibly and making sure your car is
maintained properly.
