Hybrid Engines

REVIEW the Top Three Water & Gas Fuel Sites Click Here!

Hybrid engines provide the best fuel efficiency vehicles on the market. They combine the power of a gas engine with the fuel efficiency of an electric car. Hybrids give drivers the chance to drive in the best of both worlds, without sacrificing speed and power. The wonderful driving experience can be attained without the need for a driver to lose their wallet at the gas pump.

The hybrid engine is an invention of necessity rather than luxury. The price of oil is climbing to record highs which is creating a painful driving experience when pulling up to a gas pump to refill the gas tanks. Drivers of SUV’s and vintage muscle cars are especially feeling the pain at the pumps. These vehicles are beautiful driving options but consume large quantities of gas in the process. As a result, a trip to the gas station can easily break the bank. For that reason alone, many consumers are seeking out the alternatives of hybrid cars.

Hybrid engine cars create a nice compromise of a four door sedan and a two door electric car like the EV-1.  The Toyota Prius for example has a 1.3L engine that works congruently with a 50 Kilowatt motor. The Toyota platform for their Prius utilizes a computer system to determine when to use the gas engine and when to use the electric engine. Often the system determines the best solution to be a transition between the two without the driver even being aware of what is going on.

The Ford Escape Hybrid substitutes degrees of fuel efficiency for additional power. This gives the driver the feel of driving a conventional car while being in a more economical and fuel efficient hybrid model. The power generated with a 150 cc gas engine combined with an electric motor is easily comparable to a 200 cc standard Ford Escape engine.

Another shining example of this power can be found in the Honda Civic. This combines the beautiful interiors with state of the art Hybrid technology. It offers 45 miles to the gallon on city driving using a 110 HP 1.3L engine and a 20 HP electric motor. The style keeps in line with conventional Civic models. The interior comes loaded with all the extras that can be expected from a Honda vehicle. It is a consistent hybrid car winner each year.

Although the attractiveness of SUV’s and vintage cars will always exist, it is simply not practical to have these vehicles on the road. Rising gas prices are a testament to this fact. It can cost a small fortune to fill up the gas tank and this is no longer a weekly occurrence with these vehicle models. A Hybrid engine can help protect the planet from harmful greenhouse gasses while conserving natural resources. Hybrid vehicles are readily available from some of the biggest manufactures in the industry. Consumers can select nearly every size, shape and colour imaginable. This makes it easy and affordable for everyone to start driving a hybrid today. That movement can go a long way towards preserving the earth environment tomorrow.

Cars That Run on Water Tip #1

No matter what anybody tells you, there is not yet a water powered car in production. That is an urban myth that reached its peak with Stanley Meyer who claimed that he drove one hundred miles using only four ounces of water (he was later convicted of fraud). The water powered engine hasn't even been invented yet. Scientists are still trying to figure out if it is even possible.

Cars That Run on Water Tip #2

Many major car manufacturers are embracing the idea of the hydrogen car. BMW hopes to release a hydrogen car to the public by 2008 (or 2010 at the latest) and other manufacturers like Toyota are also making plans to release hydrogen car lines. Of course the debate over using hydrogen in cars is still raging and nothing has been settled yet.

Cars That Run on Water Tip #3

While both a water based engine and a hydrogen engine will do wonders for fuel emissions and the environment, one of the major reasons people want them is to improve their fuel mileage. Of course, gas mileage can be improved right now. You can improve your gas mileage drastically just by driving sensibly and making sure your car is maintained properly.
