REVIEW the Top Three Water & Gas Fuel Sites Click Here!
As the technological advances of hybrid cars continue to change, the future hybrid cars available on the market will be bigger and brighter than the ones on the market today. Power and speed will increase as will the smoothness of the ride. Future cars will focus less on conventional gasoline methods and more on fuel efficiency. The future hybrid cars will go a long way towards ensuring oil and gasoline issues are kept in check.
The Toyota Prius revolutionized the way hybrid engines work. They are the model that people follow and they will be the model for the hybrid cars of the future. It would only make sense therefore to see the company launch a hybrid car for its sister company Lexus. Word in the industry is that this hybrid creation will be a Lexus wagon version of the hybrid vehicles. The basic aspects will mirror that of the Toyota Prius in terms of platform and drive. The remainder of the vehicle will showcase clean lines on the side exterior. The new Lexus version is scheduled to debut at the 2009 North American Automobile Show in Detroit.
At that same show Saturn will debut its contribution to the hybrid vehicle line. The Saturn Vue Green Line 2 model is set to take centre stage with its power and economical aspects. The Vue is equipped with a 257 Hp V engine and 2 55KW motors directly attached to the transmission. The Vue 2 mode will be twice as efficient as its gas counterpart. This will come through the 16 mile per gallon mileage for city driving and 22 miles per gallon for highway roads. Outward appearance will match the conventional Vue vehicles. The only difference will be a Vue 2 badge on the doors.
Not to be left out of the mix at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show will be Chrysler’s contributions to the hybrid market. This will come from the Dodge Zeo, Chrysler Eco-Voyager and Jeep Renegade vehicles. As with other hybrid cars, the common point in each of these will be an electric engine function. Style wise the vehicles will showcase lightweight aluminium with rounded edges. Changes will still maintain that rugged masculine exterior that the Chrysler vehicle is known for.
Toyota brought a bit of comedy to last year’s auto show with the introduction of a car named 1/Xth. The name comes from the fact that the car is exactly that degree of weight less than the popular Prius model. Materials such as carbon fibre and reinforced plastic went into the production of this wild and wacky Toyota hybrid car model. Visual aspects are enhanced by narrowing the pillars and reducing the overall weight of the vehicle.
These are just glimpses of what is to come. These concepts will be the jump off of revolutionary engineering, cutting edge design and hopefully improved gas ratings. Consumers interested in car styles equipped with Hybrid engines or futuristic car bodies will appreciate the ingenuity that hybrid vehicles bring to the market. Hybrid cars are quickly becoming that must have big ticket item of the future.
Cars That Run on Water Tip #1
No matter what anybody tells you, there is not yet a water powered car in production. That is an urban myth that reached its peak with Stanley Meyer who claimed that he drove one hundred miles using only four ounces of water (he was later convicted of fraud). The water powered engine hasn't even been invented yet. Scientists are still trying to figure out if it is even possible. |
Cars That Run on Water Tip #2
Many major car manufacturers are embracing the idea of the hydrogen car. BMW hopes to release a hydrogen car to the public by 2008 (or 2010 at the latest) and other manufacturers like Toyota are also making plans to release hydrogen car lines. Of course the debate over using hydrogen in cars is still raging and nothing has been settled yet. |
Cars That Run on Water Tip #3
While both a water based engine and a hydrogen engine will do wonders for fuel emissions and the environment, one of the major reasons people want them is to improve their fuel mileage. Of course, gas mileage can be improved right now. You can improve your gas mileage drastically just by driving sensibly and making sure your car is maintained properly. |
